About
I am a multidisciplinary artist based on the border of Powys and Shropshire. My practice develops through direct engagement with materials, places and subjects, allowing form and meaning to emerge through the process of making.Born in 1989 and raised in Dorset, I later lived in Wellington, New Zealand, where my practice expanded through increased production and experimentation. I completed a BA (Hons) Fine Art at Wrexham University in 2025 and an MA in Painting at the same institution in 2026.My practice explores expanded painting through storytelling and material encounter. Drawing on British wildlife, landscape and folklore, I bring together painting, textiles and found materials, often developing work through processes of making and working in multiple settings.I take inspiration from the works of Kiki Smith, Sophia Loeb, Nikoletta Sekulovic and Vincent van Gogh.
